WIN-WIN with Morrisons Printed Top Web

In today’s trading conditions, where reactivity is a prerequisite, and in an age where packaging reduction is key, every brand, manufacturer or Supplier worth it’s salt, needs to be responsive and also optimise costs where possible but also reduce amount of packaging in such a way that the brand or product does not lose impact when it reaches the shelf edge.

Thus when Two Sisters Food Group were appointed by major multiple Morrisons, to supply seven poultry product lines, Leading Edge Labels & Packaging were the obvious packaging specialist to manufacture the printed top web (lidding film) for this key piece of business.

With advances in print technology, Leading Edge is able to reproduce high quality graphics and imagery directly onto the film to replace traditionally used carton sleeves – this not only enables a reduction in packaging, it also creates other economies within the supply chain: such as reduction in transport and storage costs with only one component (printed film) being required.
