Following strong demand for more environmental products & "natural" look and feel to packaging, Leading Edge developed a range of a packaging materials which are ideal for Organic or natural products or those wishing to reaffirm their "eco-friendly" credentials.

Leading Edge has demonstrated the ability to react effectively to important market issues such as 100% recyclable packaging. Working with a number of high profile brands, we are continuing to develop label & packaging options: including the use of vegetable based inks, adhesives and other materials but also explore alternative mechanics which can be recycled, help reduce waste and be more environmentally friendly too.

As a BRC accredited company, Leading Edge are committed to reducing the environmental impact of the packaging we manufacture. 

Following the: "re-use - recyle - reduce" approach, we have worked with major brands to reduce the amount of packaging ending up in landfill. On-going initiatives include: continually looking to reduce the size and weight of packaging; promoting linerless to reduce the use of honey glassine liners; using printed lidding film to replace cardboard sleeves and printing directly onto rigid plastic to remove other packaging components.
